About India Tours Plan

We organise private tours in North India from our base in Agra: day trips to the Taj Mahal, the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, and longer journeys through Rajasthan and on to Varanasi.

Atithi Devo Bhava

“The guest is God”: an old Indian saying, and the idea we work by.

Our aim is simple: to make your visit to India memorable, enjoyable and free of hassle. We let you shape the trip around what you want to see, and we take care of the planning and the logistics so you can enjoy the places themselves.

We arrange private tours for individual travellers, couples, families and groups, and can organise travel for corporate events. Every itinerary is planned around your interests, your pace and your budget.

How we work

A combination of services we run ourselves and services from trusted partners.

  • Arranged by us

Trip planning, private cars and drivers, and local guides on our main routes in Agra, Delhi, Jaipur and Rajasthan.

  • Arranged with partners

Hotels, train and flight tickets, national park safaris, and services in cities further away, such as Varanasi, Amritsar and Mumbai.

  • Clear about what is included

Your quote lists each part of the trip, what it includes and what it does not, before you decide anything.

  • One point of contact

You deal with us before and during your trip, whoever provides each service.

How a tour with us works

  1. Choose or describe

Choose a tour, or tell us what you would like to see.

  2. Send an inquiry

Include your dates and the number of travellers.

  3. Receive a quote

We reply with availability, the exact inclusions and the price for your group.

  4. Confirm in writing

Once you are happy, we confirm the booking in writing.

Our tours

All tours
  • Golden Triangle Tours

The Golden Triangle joins three cities that most first visits to India are built around: Delhi, the capital; Agra, home of the Taj Mahal; and Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan. The three sit roughly four to six hours apart by road, so the circuit works well with a private car and driver.

  • Rajasthan Tours

Rajasthan is the land of the Rajput kingdoms: hill forts above walled cities, lake palaces, painted havelis and the Thar Desert. Distances are long, so a good Rajasthan itinerary is mostly about choosing well and not rushing.

  • Taj Mahal Tours

Every way we run a visit to the Taj Mahal: a same-day drive or train trip from Delhi, an early start for sunrise, an unhurried overnight stay in Agra, or a long day by air from another Indian city.

  • Same Day Tours

Day trips for travellers who are short on time. Go from Delhi to the Taj Mahal by car or by train, see Old and New Delhi in a day, make the long day trip to Jaipur, or explore Agra on foot, by tuk-tuk or through its colonial buildings.

  • Short Multi-Day Tours

Short trips of two or three days, for when a day trip is too rushed and a full tour is too long. For journeys of a week or more, see our Golden Triangle tours and Rajasthan tours.
